Heen Bovitiya (Osbeckia octandra) is a small herbaceous plant which is native to Sri Lanka and is known for its high medicinal properties. The leaves, stems and bark are traditionally used in powder form in Sri Lanka to treat various ailments and diseases, including e.g. diabetes, liver damage and cancer.
